Land Acknowledgement

Today the Espanola Regional Hospital and Health Center operates on land that has been the traditional territory of the Anishnaabe for over thousands of years, and within the Robinson Huron Treaty of 1850. We recognize and deeply appreciate their historical use of this place. We also recognize the contributions that the Indigenous, Metis and Inuit people have made and continue to make, both in shaping and strengthening our communities in particular but also our province and country as well. We are grateful and humbled to have the opportunity to live, work and come together on this land.
